The Cool City Sécheron project aims to transform the outdoor spaces of the Sécheron orientation cycle (12,500m2), which are currently very mineral, into an island of freshness, while developing a quality school and public space for the various users. During the consultation process, pupils and teachers at the school, as well as local residents and associations, were involved in various ways (classroom workshops, online workshops, one-day workshops, prototype creation workshops, public exhibitions and guided tours) to co-design the school's future outdoor spaces. Throughout the process, the urbz team and the landscape architects from Monnier Architecture Paysage (MAP) worked iteratively to constantly evolve the project outline.

Remember the Urban Typhoon workshops in Kochi? These workshops were part of the EnteKochi citylab. We are now back with the Entekochi competition. This is a national level Urban Design Competition, aiming to jointly ‘design the future city’ of Kochi. It is envisaged to plan and then facilitate the implementation of an integrated civic project.
